Heart Effect meticulously searches for charitable causes that align with our values. Each charity selected goes through a rigorous review process to ensure each organisation or cause has a humanitarian focus, and is not politically or religiously aligned. For example, a charity that provides educational resources to underserved communities would align with our values.
Where possible, we prioritize smaller charities that could significantly benefit from our support. However, larger charities may be considered if they are responding to an immediate need, such as a natural disaster.
While we are open to supporting charities worldwide, we also consider local community charities if they align with our values and goals. For example, a local food bank or homeless shelter could be a potential partner.
Charities should have a positive reputation and a history of transparency. This could include a review of their financials, any press coverage, and their rating on charity assessment platforms like Charity Navigator.
Most importantly, Charities should be able to demonstrate the impact of their work so that we can be sure that the money you provide to us for your products is given to a cause that is effective, positive and makes a difference in the world.
